E-mobility in Slovakia

The purpose of the E-mobility in Slovakia portal is to support Slovak companies and projects working in the fields of electromobility and batteries.

The portal is especially focused on R&D and innovation, networking support and access to foreign markets and contact with potential foreign partners.

An equally ambitious goal is to inform Slovak companies about the need for, and impact of, the transformation of the automotive industry and mobility towards emission-free vehicles, primarily electric vehicles. In this area, it aims to raise companies’ awareness of the impacts of new EU legislation (e.g. on batteries, drivetrains, recycling, construction of infrastructure for alternative fuels, etc.) as well as of the impacts resulting from changes in production chains, for example.

Charging electric cars takes significantly less time

Not only are new locations being added to the map, but above all: performance is improving.
Within five years, there will be 150,000 electric cars on Slovak roads.

In December, another 66 electric cars with new registration numbers hit Slovak roads every working day.
