The Automotive Transformation Conference, prepared by the partners of the Drive2Transform project, took place in Linz. The event focused on how manufacturing companies are managing the transition to electric, autonomous and connected vehicles.

The conference was held on 22 and 23 September 2026 at Kunstuniversität Linz. The programme was opened by Christian Altmann, CFO of Business Upper Austria – OÖ. Wirtschaftsagentur GmbH.
The programme included expert contributions on the transformation of the automotive industry, autonomous driving and new mobility platforms. Speakers included Marwa Ben Ali from the Sustainable Manufacturing Lab at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Mariem Mounir from EDI AG – Engineering Data Intelligence and Stephan Röß, founder and CEO of AI-Charge Technologies GmbH.
The two-day event also included visits to Rosenbauer, BMW Steyr, DigiTrans and Linz AG, B2B matchmaking within the Enterprise Europe Network and an innovation exhibition.
The Drive2Transform project brings together partners from several Central European countries. SEVA – Slovak Electric Vehicle Association is one of the project partners.
