Waymo plans to launch a fully autonomous robotaxi service for the public in Munich by the end of 2027. In the coming weeks, however, the vehicles will still be driven manually for mapping and testing in real-world city traffic. Mapping drives will begin with electric Jaguar I-Pace vehicles equipped with Waymo’s fifth-generation technology.
