Volvo AB expects its autonomous trucking business to generate nearly $3 billion in revenue within five years of launching on U.S. highways. The company is signaling that autonomous logistics is moving from the testing phase to full-scale commercial operation. According to Nils Jaeger, head of the autonomous transport division, more than 300 autonomous Volvo trucks should be on the highways by the end of 2027.
