The Volkswagen Group is launching an integrated Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) package in Germany that combines compatible electric vehicles, a bidirectional charger, the Volkswagen Naturstrom V2G Flow tariff, and a dedicated app. The goal is to establish V2G technology in the mass market. Approximately 1 million Volkswagen Group vehicles based on the MEB platform and equipped for bidirectional charging are already on the road in Europe, including about 360,000 in Germany.
