According to an analysis by Germany's CIMA Institut für Regionalwirtschaft, the investment by Swedish firm Nortvolt in the German town of Heide, with a capacity of 60 GWh per year, will bring a total of 3,000 direct and almost 9,000 indirect jobs. In terms of added value of production, it will generate €942 million annually in the region.
