Buildings that do not prepare for e-mobility in time may quickly fall behind technologically. This is not just about installing charging stations. E-mobility is increasingly connected with energy management, the operation of commercial real estate, energy consumption optimisation and new models for local electricity generation or sharing.

These topics were the focus of a panel discussion held on 17 June 2026 at Swiss Re in Bratislava. The event opened practical questions that owners, managers and users of modern buildings are already addressing: how to prepare for e-mobility in a systematic way, where new business opportunities arise, and where technical, capacity or legislative limits appear.
The panel featured Simona Kalinovská from 3MON, Róbert Ruňanin from ENGIE Slovensko and Patrik Križanský from SEVA. The discussion was moderated and complemented by Andrea Kubíčková from the Slovak Association of Facility Management and Richard Modrák from the Cluster of Energy Communities of Slovakia.
An important part of the programme was also the topic of energy communities and their practical use in modern buildings and campuses. The combination of e-mobility, energy and building management shows that charging infrastructure is no longer an isolated technical element, but part of a broader real estate operation strategy.
The event also built on SEVA’s cooperation with expert partners from the facility management, energy and sustainable buildings sectors. The shared goal is to look for solutions that will help prepare Slovak buildings for the new reality of zero-emission mobility.
