Digital transformation is also changing the automotive industry. The future of cars is no longer only about electrification, battery capacity or range. Software, artificial intelligence, data services and a new generation of vehicles with their own operating systems are playing an increasingly important role.

This was the focus of a discussion at Forbes Business Fest Slovakia, the largest business festival in Slovakia, held at Tyršovo nábrežie in Bratislava. On the IT & Innovation stage, Patrik Križanský, Director of SEVA, and Daniel Homola, an automotive AI expert and Forbes 30 Under 30 alumnus, discussed how the industry is changing.
The discussion opened questions that are shaping the global automotive industry today: what the car of the future will look like, how software is changing competition and the demand for talent, and what software-defined vehicles, subscription-based features, personalised driving experiences and autonomous mobility will bring.
Artificial intelligence was also an important topic – not only in the car itself, but also in vehicle development, design, production, sales and use. These trends will help determine Europe’s position in the new era of mobility.
Thank you to Forbes Business Fest Slovakia for the invitation and for creating space for a discussion on the future of automotive, e-mobility and the digital transformation of transport.
