The Slovak Electric Vehicle Association (SEVA) and Elektromobilní platforma (CZ) invite you to a closed-door roundtable focused on the transformation of the automotive industry in the context of the transition to electromobility. As part of the CEEMOBILITY2035 initiative, the goal is to foster discussion on policies and tools needed to support a successful transformation of this key sector.
Passenger car manufacturing is a key pillar of prosperity in Central and Eastern Europe. Therefore, today’s global shift to zero-emission transport requires strategic decisions and public policy that will help the region attract new investments in battery and electromobility-related industries.
The roundtable will explore:
- the readiness of the CEE automotive industry for the shift to electromobility,
- current data on infrastructure and industrial capacity,
- national policy measures and European Commission initiatives, including the Net-Zero Industry Act and the Automotive Industry Transition Pathway.
The meeting will follow the Chatham House Rule, enabling open dialogue between Slovak and Czech experts from both the public and private sectors.
