Volvo Trucks is introducing new electric trucks with a range of up to 700 km. The FH Aero Electric with extended range is designed for long-haul and intercity transport, where it aims to replace diesel without any significant loss of productivity. The new truck uses a compact e-axle, which frees up space for more batteries. Charging 8 batteries from 20% to 80% is expected to take approximately 50 minutes with the standard 700 kW MCS, which fits within the mandatory driver break in the EU.
