Sweden's Norvolt has started construction of its gigafactory for batteries in northern Germany. The factory will have an annual capacity of 60 GWh, employ 3,000 people and use renewable energy from wind farms. Among others, Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economic Affairs Robert Habeck attended the ceremony. Read more at northvolt.com 🇬🇧
