Irish Minister of Transport Darragh O'Brien has launched a public consultation on the draft national charging infrastructure strategy for 2026–2028. The priority is to address the installation of chargers in residential areas for drivers who do not have access to their own yard or garage. It also envisages massive support for high-power charging parks along major roads and transit corridors. Ireland has allocated more than €120 million in 2026 to support the transition to electric mobility. gov.ie 🇬🇧
