Daimler Trucks and the German motorway company Autobahn GmbH have tested the battery-powered eActros 600 in demanding winter operation. The vehicle was tested on the motorway with a trailer for the preventive application of brine on the road surface as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional road salt. eActros 600 has a range of up to 500 kilometres.
